I don't know what every one's favorite food is. I personally really like Pizza (hold the mushrooms and olives), and Spinach, and BACON (cooked really crispy, not wiggly at all) and I really enjoy cheese and yogurt- and Johnny Carino's Chicken Parmesan, and Zucchini- but right now I am savoring some fresh corn on the cob- smeared with LOTS of butter, doused with a little bit of salt, and it's HEAVEN! My face is juicy and oily and gross, and I have bits of crap stuck in my teeth, but for right now I don't care. Corn on the cob is the "bestest".

ReplyDeletewhat the random? I love our family. Target had corn on the cob ten for a dollar last week, and I missed it :-( I loved when we used to be able to pick it out of the garden and eat it for dinner that night. It is summer time, but alas, I have no garden wherewith to pick my corn. . .

This is my first garden and I really have no idea what I'm doing but the corn seems to be doing ok so please come up and share it. I'm lonely. By the way, I like the random posts. I think it helps us to get to know eachother better.

I have like two free weeks in betweeen sememsters, the problem is I have work and rent to pay. . . so, if you want to pay my rent, I'd be more than happy to come up whenever you want! I'm sure in that time period, I will be up at Mom and Dad's though, if you wanted to come. . . . but wait, we have the familiy reunion arround that time anyway, so we won't worry about it. Basically I just wasted a bunch of words and time writing all that.

When will you be at mom and dad's- we're thinking of coming for most of the first week of August- and I think that Steph might be there too because of Adam's work- and maybe Alisha can come then also! What about Mike and Jeff? Any chance that Greg wants to fly out here too? I know, you can't, but I wanted to make sure you're invited and loved and wanted!

ReplyDeleteDid it come to you in one piece? What kind of a sandwich was it- and WHY would she do that? If you are going to start a story like that, then we need the rest of the details! :) If I had all the money in the world, I think it would be funny to randomly mail stuff like that to people.

ReplyDeleteI'm working on a way to come down the beginning of that week, I'm not sure how yet though. Any one want to come and pick me up? OR find a flate rate USPS box big enough for me and my kids? Just wait Brian, a moldy ear of corn might show up on your doorstep in a couple of months. I'm so excited to see everyone!!!!
ReplyDeleteLol I love these blogs seriously they make my day when I'm at work and I dont want to actually work so I can read your guy's comments! :o) makes me happy. I really hope I can at least come up and see ya guys! I feel really terrible, because my own family's reunion is going to bee that week, the monday-thurs. The only problem is I cant go to theirs because I have school, even though its one day out of the week,... I just cant do it because of where its going to be... and school... but I think that Jeff and I will be coming up for that weekend. So I'm really excited about that!!! :o)
