That was one of the things I was most excited about seeing when we went to Missouri. I have to say- I chased them around like a little kid, and do still do when ever we go back. It's crazy how cool they are- and why don't we have them in the west? I wanted to catch some in a jar to bring on the plane home to my kids- do you think they would make it?
Oh now I really really want to go! haha my mom has told me all about fireflies! and I was super jealous about her telling me of all her Navoo experiances, I think it would be loads of fun to have them here! I wish they would make it. Now I'm curious... how do they glow? I guess just the chemicals in their body's that they produce? like glow worms? I slightly remember watching a discovery channel learning about how glow worms glow.... but dont remember it all.
I've never seen fireflies before! Lucky!

ReplyDeleteStill don't know much about Pearl Jam, although I should. I miss DC and fireflies. Anyone going to pay for my plane ticket to Virginia yet? . . . ;-)
