I propose a Jeff week

I know Jeff secretly reads this blog, and even if he doesn't, I don't care! I propose that in honor of Jeff's birthday, we all post pictures, stories, comments, etc. about Jeff.

I appreciate and value Jeff's knowledge. Jeff has acquired a mass of information on a variety of subjects and I know that if I seriously inquire, he will give me an answer that is not only accurate, but that has withstood a battery of serious tests, both practical and theoretical, that Jeff requires. I never have to worry that Jeff is trying to sound impressive by asserting an opinion he can not support: Jeff is never embarrassed and always honest.

Thanks Jeff! Hope you have a superb birthday and we love you!

  1. One of my most favorite memories of Jeff is when he lived with us in Salmon. He and Blair would have crazy wrestling matches in the front room and would get Poacher so riled up. When the weather turned warm we bought a long rectangular blow up pool and would soak in it all afternoon long to stay cool (yes, we looked funny, but if FELT GOOD!). Blair loved having a fishing buddy and friend, I loved having family close. My kids like to call him Jeffery Princess, because he calls the girls princess. I appreciate that he takes the time to get to know my kids, on their level. We loved going to the aquarium with him, and I was really excited that he suggested it. He was really thoughtful to come up with an idea that was great for the ages and ability of my kids. Jeff took time with them, talking about the different animals they say and lifting Alex up so she could see. Jeff has a lot to offer and I am glad that he's our brother!

  2. :o) Thank you Greg and Hayley!!! I really appreciate this!

I know Jeff doesnt enjoy anyone saying happy birthday or anything, but he is such a great man! Jeff is an amazing person really and I have so much respect for him. Before we started to date, my cousin passed away before thanksgiving. That weekend my whole family came down to Sandy and we had our thanksgiving and the funeral. My little sisters wanted to go shopping that black friday, but my Mom nor aunts wanted to go.

Jeff was so sweet, and he offered to take me and my little sisters out to the mall on "black friday" so that my little sisters could go shopping. Then after that very early morning he dropped us back home and he went back to work!!!! My Grandpa wanted to leave early, that friday evening, but I had really wanted to stay longer to see my family. Jeff offered to take me back to IF on sunday, and then after dropping me off, he drove himself all the way back to Utah so he could go to work next morning.

There are so so so many more things I could say, but I just wanted to say that one because that showed me how amazing he really is, and he's always been like this. He'll bend over backwards for many many people and he is truely thoughtful. I'm so blessed to be engaged to him and that he loves me so much, and for having an amazing family, that I have also felt love from. I have learned so much from Jeff, and appreciate everything that he has done for me in my life.

He truely is an amazing man, and I am truely blessed to have him in my life. Again, thank you so much :o)

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH JEFF!!! Happy Birthday Babe!!!! (Even if he doesnt ready this, all well)

  3. I know it's belated, but I already told Jeff my comment. Lest the family think I am insensitive, I will post my comment to him publicly.
I will always remember Jeff as the best gift-giver. It seeems like every gift I've recieved from Jeff has been so well thought out. He's always managed to find gifts to give me that I've never told anyone I wanted. Jeff doesn't stop giving either. One year for Christmas, he was debating between two gifts to give me. He know I needed one (a gift card for gas) and would like the other (a dart board). Instead of deciding between the two, he decided to give me both.
Let's not also forget that the only reason our family enjoys paintballing when we get together is Jeff. I remember another time going down to Pocatello to go painballing with him. He paid for my rental, my gas, my food for the few hours I was there, and just wanted to make sure I had a good time.
Thanks for being a great bro, Jeff. I love you lots!
