Happiness and Flowers

Most of you know how much I love flowers. I think they are one of the happiest of Heavenly Fathers creations. So I wanted to spread the happiness and show you these beautiful daisys that are growing in my flower bed. I didn't think that they were going to bloom because it took so long but when they did they were so pretty and now every time I see them they brighten up my day. I hope that you all know how much I love you. You brighten up my day every time I talk to you or read one of your comments. I hope that you all have a wonderful day!!

  1. Alisha really is our Flower Girl and these flowers were beautiful. But, you should see her garden!! Beautiful plants and even garden paths covered in redwood chips. Gardening really is a worthwhile and enjoyable project. Hope you all will get into a little "dirt" some day. Mom

  2. OH I wish we had a little garden to do flowers as well! That is so awesome Alisha! I love nature, and flowers and different kinds of plants brighten up my day as well.
My Mommy and Papa gave me some inside house plants that have been in the family for several years, and all my aunts and uncles have these in their homes, and it made me feel special to be able to receive these when I started out in my own apartment.
I just cant wait until I get a home and to be able to have my own garden. That is really so awesome!!! :) thank you for sharing that, I really appreciate it, I love nature so much.
Makes me want to drag Jeff along and go out to the mountains and look at different plants and be in nature's amazing presence, sometimes can be so breath taking. Wow I could go on, but I'll stop there. :o) thanks again!!!

  3. Daisy's are the best. Rather then roses, Blair knows to bring Daisy's home for me. My kids love planting flowers, too. My gardens never look perfect, or even that pretty, but man they have fun.

  4. When i think of Alisha and Flowers, I think of the Cosmos she planted in the garden before her mission years and years ago. While she was on her mission, we would always look at them and remember her. Today they are still growing in mom and dad's yard. I guess they can't get rid of them. Perhapse there is another paralell there: You couldn't ger rid of Alisha, even if you wanted to . . . but perhapse that is OK because, like the Cosmos, she brings happiness to those arround her. ;-) Love you Lish. Thanks for being a great sis.

  6. I am very jealous and impressed with your garden. I can't wait to have one. Then I don't have to pay $1.75 per lbs for tomatoes.

  7. Just a side note- I started growing Basil several weeks ago on the advice of Greg. I have yet to use it, but we often pick a few leaves and crush them between our fingers just for the smell...mmmmm.
