I have to say that this post has no real importance, just trying to
discover the meaning of the above picture. We have several pictures from Uncle Brian that he sent the kids while on his mission. This one was their favorite. We just cleaned out the front room and found it up by the TV (where it had been balanced so the kids could see it often). I am sure that there is a good story behind it...so do tell Brian.
I think I've seen a couple of those guys on the sex offender registry . . .
ReplyDeleteOh the silly things you do when you're a missionary. You think that they would be mature and proper about every thing. NOT, they're still nineteen year old boys I guess. Now the sister missionaries. Well I guess we had our moments as well. ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteI have learned A LOT about misisonaries, having them in our home so often. WE've also learned a lot about Elders pictures- there are a few pictures that apparently EVERY elder has, boys are SOOOO much different then girls.
ReplyDeleteThere's really not too much of a story to it. The red head in the center, Elder Strickwerda, tore some duck tape off and stuck it too his face, and we found if he wears his companion's glasses and holds a big stick in the air, he looks like Teddy Roosavelt (There are pictures for that too)We then realized we would never know how we really look with facial hair because, well, we're nineteen and can't grow any. We decided to find out what we'd look like if we had some, so we all picked the style we thought we would have if we could, and there you have it. Don't worry, no proselyting time was was wasted in the making of this picture.
