Ok, so a year ago I didn't even have the internet, I couldn't log onto a blog let alone create one, and I was a technical mess. Now, despite my inner conflict to tell myself I am not dumb, I am letting a quiet giddy "hee hee" escape because I have figured out how to create my very own link button to my blog "My girls and their hair". If you have already figured this out or think it's not hard, don't tell me. I want to go on thinking I am smart today :) Go ahead, click on it. It really works. "Hee hee".

BJ
Happy Birthday to a brother who has always gone out of his way to spend time with my kids. You are one of a kind and we love you.
Wow 11 years old
Happy Birthday Brooke. We loved you the day you were born and every day since. You have grown up right before our eyes and are so beautiful. Happy Birthday.

moving back/solicitation
I don't think I have been able to get a hold of everyone, but, as most of you know already, we are moving back.
Yeehah!
We don't have a job, but we feel like we are being guided back to Idaho for whatever reason.
As such, we have a long trek ahead of us. The trip back is four days of driving 10 hours per day (sound familiar, Stephani?). Dad has graciously offered to help me drive back, but it would make the trip so much easier if we had one more person. That way, we could rotate and one could sleep or relax while the other two drove (we might even be able to cut a day off if the rotation works well).
I have already asked Mike, but he is not sure if he can arrange his schedule. So, I am just seeing if anyone has a schedule such that they have a Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday available to fly out and help us drive. We would buy your plane ticket.
Thanks and we'll see you all in a couple of weeks!

Dishwashing Detergent
So.
I just learned that dish washing detergent doesn't necessarily sanitize your dishes, but just aids in removing crap from them.
So, if I rinse my dishes and have a sanitizing button on my dishwasher, why on earth would I ever use detergent again? Please, someone convince me.
Oh, and if you are interested in the ingredients in your detergent, click HERE

A FAMILIES' LOVE MAKE DARK TIMES BEARABLE
I can't thank you all enough for the kind attentions that have filled my heart and lifted my spirits. The flowers, books, letters from my precious grandchildren, art supplies (I drew a bunny yesterday), candy, blankies, cuddlie things are all so appreciated. Now maybe you all think it just might be worth the pain, think again and beware of everything you Dr. perscribes. I am going to go through yuck for a month then another month before the natural seratonen kicks in and we see just how bad my pain really is. After that, who knows. But there is a goal in sight and I'm working each day for a better life for myself and those around me. Know I am trying very hard, it's just the hardest thing I've ever done, even beyond raising seven wonderful children. Keep me in your prayers please and know how much I love you. I want to send proper thank you notes to all. Just don't know when I'll feel up to it. Sorry for the lack of grandchildren Vanentine's Day packages. I'll miss it more than they will. Love you all so much, Mom
NEED TO KNOW NOW!!
I need to know now what you guys want for family reunion!! Your cousins would like to get together. How important is it to you? I KNOW that if you don't book a condo in Jan. chances are you won't get one. Just talked to Holly and they haven't got a condo either but are waiting for us to decide. I want everyone to be there more than I want to get together with cousins. What do you think? Do you want to even have it at Bear Lake. We could possibly go to Ponds again. Or make it real easy and convenient and have it here. But I need to know now, it may already be to late. What are all your thoughts? Mom

Family Reunion
I know, I am a planning freak! The reunion is a long ways away (6 months as Steph told me), but I thought I better ask now...just in case! I realize that as our families start getting bigger/older, we won't be able to move it for everyone- and that no weekend is going to be great for everyone.
Brooke is going to her first sleep away camp (*sigh* she is finally old enough, and the apron strings are starting to fray) and it happens that it's the first week of August- the 1st-6th. That would be when the Bean reunion usually is. SO- would it be horrible if we moved to the end of July?

You guys are smarter then I am so...
I thought that I had this thing figured out, thought it was basic math manipulation, but 10 times now and I am perfectly stumped. I am sure with all the brainy siblings out there, someone will know how, and why. Please let me in on it, it's driving me crazy!

Who had the messiest room?
I have been working with my kids to get their rooms "super" clean and organized the last few days. Brant asked me a little bit ago- when you were growing up, who had the messiest room? I had to laugh, and tell him that it was probably ME. But I wasn't really home, or was wrapped up in my own teenage world to notice and remember everyone else's rooms. I remember Steph always had a really neat/cute room, and Brian and Greg both seemed like "neat" kids. Any thoughts on this? :)
Pajama Jeans
I don't know whether to laugh, or be intrigued. Really- Pajama jeans?? The commercial's are hillarious. Really. Someone buy a pair and tell me if they make you look cute, or fakey. I think that the boys would especially look cute in pajama jeans. Why bother getting dressed in pajama jeans, I think I'll just stay in my plain old p.j.'s!
