A dangerous job

This is one of the HIGH VOLTAGE substations that Adam works at all day, these are the SNAKES that live in the substations that Adam works at all day, these are the TOWERS Adam has to climb by the substations that he works at all day, this is a brush FIRE burning 10 feet away from the substation that Adam had to work at all day.
Can anyone say HAZARD PAY?

  1. Seriously, tell him to come take school pictures. Adam is "the man". I do worry about the occasional elk or moose running into the road, icy roads, and a HS going crazy and shooting up the picture guy because he doesn't like his ID card picture, but over all his job is pretty low danger level...

  2. Holy Crap. I had no idea. Hopefully the benefits are fantastic.

  3. Josh : in my year long business module we are using Idaho Power as our case study. Our instructors took a tour of several facilities but never said anything about snakes. Maybe Adam could cook a few of them on a power line for dinner one night. ;)
