SNOW

It snowed a bunch last night.  I love it when my girls wake up to the first snow of the year.  They get a wonderful surprise and are sooo excited to go play.  Pajamas and all.  We have a tradition to play this song (see previous post) just as soon as the snow first sticks. First Snow Fall is on the older Carpenters album we listened to as kids.  It was my favorite. We will be listening to Christmas music and dancing in the kitchen all day.

  1. It's the Happ-Haooiest time of the year...jiggle bells ringing and kids will be singing...
Ahhh, the carpenters. I think that should have been on our top ten list for a spouse- Blair doesn't love the carpenter's NEARLY enough, but he does lovingly tolerate them!

  2. NOT FAIR. Actually I have thought about it and though I am jealous that you have had snow already I guess I could wait until it is closer to christmas for it to come, as long as it disappeared right after. Last year was way more mild than the years before so it will be interesting to see what this year brings. Jenny got me started on the christmas music when I was down last weekend and I'm so glad because it has made the season start already, and it never seems to last long enough, but maybe it will this year. By the way, how early is too early to decorate for christmas?

  3. I do not miss you, snow. I had a pleasant day with my children in the yard at a mild 60 degrees. Maybe when my kids are a little older, I will long for the days of snow. As for now, stay away solid precipitation!
