So I have a question.  Let's say you're doing laundry and as you are switching the clothes from the washer to the dryer something falls.  Do you re-wash it or do you just shove it back in the dryer and hope the heat kills any germs that it may have picked up?  I know what I do, but I've been wondering what the rest of you do.

  1. I put it in the dryer most of the time, unless it becomes visibly dirty when it falls. I hope no one judges me for that!

  2. Dryer- it's not like it's food or anything. I am not too worried about my clothes and germs. Unless someone pukes on them, or the floor. Then all bets are off. :)

  3. i throw it away--wouldn't want to risk it.

  4. I agree, Brian. Excellent point. The only thing that I would pick up off the floor and NOT throw away is food. That, then, goes in my mouth.

  5. I think I would be more worried about walking on your floor bare foot if it's so dirty you are worried your clothes are getting germs on them by just dropping them on the floor:0 I bet you will just die when you hear that sometimes my clothes fall into the cat water next to the dryer and I still just put them in the dryer.

  6. HA HA You guys all make me laugh!! No comment on the cat water. I too, surprisingly, just throw it back in the dryer. Unless its a dish towel. The thought of wiping my counters with a dirty dish towel makes me re-wash it. Yeah, you all know that I have OCD tendencies. Well that's one.
