  4. This question is hard to consider, since I so have my heart set on Armyworm... Honestly I would say Obama. I think with a better Congress he might do better. But I shudder at the thought of both Santorum and Gingrich.

  5. Army worm? Really? I was trying to start a serious conversation . . . and auto correct chooses ARMYWORM instead of "Romney were"?! Wild. Anyway, I assumed everyone was already in the Romney camp, a poor assumption I am sure. Anyway, so Liz, do you support Romney now? And Jeff, do you know Vermin Supreme's platform?

  7. Vermin Supreme is also claiming that if he were president, he would pass a law requiring everyone to brush their teeth, and that he would also give every American a pony. Which, frankly, are more doable than a space base on the moon. So you have to give him some credit. Plus, he did get 840 votes in the New Hampshire Democratic Primary.

As for me, I am currently in the Romney camp. I agree that he's a bit of a flip flopper and not ultra-conservative, but he is best prepared to work on the economy, which is American's most desperate need right now. I think Gingrich is too cocky and rash and I don't like Santorum's foreign policy rhetoric. So Romney there.

If he were out, however, I think I would vote for Obama. I will definitely admit all of his flaws. He has done almost nothing for our country and has thrown tons and tond of debt on. Compared to Gingrich, however, he seems like a good guy and a family man, which is important. Compared to Santorum, he will not attack Iran or engage in agressive, uniltareal foreign policy that plagued the adminstration previous to Obama. I like how Obama handled Libya and I like his take on Syria. He wants multilateralism, which is important. Additionally, I'm impressed with Obama's hard work. His policies may not be the best or the most effective, but the fact that he actually works on solutions and goes around the country stumping about them proves that he is actully at least willing to try and work or a solution, even if he can't accomplish anything. In fact, I blame Congress more than Obama for the absolute ineffectiveness of our government over the last two years.

So that's where I am. What do you guys think?

  8. Who is Vermin Supreme???

as for Obama...His policies might not be the best, and he isn't the most effective....

..and the stuff he has accomplished isn't anything to be excited about...

I have to say that I think the only one worse then O'bama in my opinion, would be gingrich (but that is just me...no offense to anyone that might like him!!). I do like santorum.

I do have to admit that I hate politics, I don't think that there have been great choices for the last several elections, for senate, for house, for president. But then, these are the final days so what can I expect. I figure I want someone who will help me to live my standards, will protect my husbands right to have guns, protect my religious freedom, protect children and after that- I just can't hope for much more, right?

  9. I think my biggest concern right now is the economy, which is why I don't like Santorum. The man is obsessed with Iran and birth control, and while those are issues that should be addressed at some point, I'd rather we had a strong economy. That's why I'm liking Romney more and more - he has opinions and plans for the other issues, but he's expressed multiple times that his priority is the economy.

  10. I strongly think any of the rep. candidates would be heads above better than Obama. I get a sick feeling in my gut when I think of Obama and all his white hater friends, and I can't follow how his decisions have done anything but hurt the U.S. I don't espically like Santorum, and even less with Newt but please, NO MORE OBOMA.

  11. I have to ask, mother. Who exactly are you referring to when you refer to Obama's white hater friends? As for his policies, it's true his decisions haven't been amazing. I only worry that Santorum's and Newt's would be worse. I guess we just have to pick our poison, don't we?
