Family Reunion Picture Swap!!

We had a really great time at the family reunion- thanks to everyone for making it a great time! We wanted to give everybody an opportunity to share pictures, so we created a family dropbox account where we can all load and view pictures.

Steps to sharing pictures:

1. Go to www.dropbox.com (click here)
2. Enter in email and password (this is a family account so we created a login and password just for this. The login email is bean.family.love@gmail.com and the password is bean.family)
3. Click on the folder "Family Reunion 2015"
4. Once inside the folder, there are 5 icons to the right of the folder title. The furthest left of these is "upload...". From here you can choose the pictures that you would like to upload.

Once pictures are shared, we will be able to view them and download if desired.

What a great time we all had at our Family reunion.  Especially a big thanks to Brian and Juliana for taking the bull by the horns and bringing us all together. But everyone helped so much and made it a TIME TO REMEMBER for years to come. We have the most magnificent family.

Family Reunion Schedule

All, we are excited for the reunion in less than a week! Here is a prospective schedule with some more details. Let us know if you have questions! 

Friday June 12^th

·         12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Lava Hot Springs Swimming Complex

The Swimming Complex opens at 12:00 p.m. and has the following features:

o   Two tube slides, two speed slides, and two kids’ slides

o   Portneuf Kiddie Cove, a 92 degree beach entry pool with slides, sprays, and splash toys

o   AquaClimb wall

o   Four diving boards (1m & 3m)

o   25-yard swimming pool, 3.5’ to 12’ deep, 1-m diving board, and lap lane

o   10 person natural hot pool

o   50-meter Olympic sized pool, 2’ to 17' deep

o   10 meter diving tower with 3 platforms

Rates (day pass, slides included)

o   Age 2 & under-Swim diaper included   $2.00

o   Age 3-11 years                                       $9.00

o   Age 12 and older                                   $10.00

·         9:30 a.m. – Grandpa’s Bingo

·         10:30 a.m. – Free Time

o   Basketball

o   Volleyball

o   Pool

·         12:30 p.m. – Lunch (Mike and Liz)

o   Place guesses for candy jar game

·         1:30 p.m. – Candy Jar Game

·         2:30 p.m. – Free time

o   Home Run Derby

o   Water Balloon Fight

o   Capture the Flag

·         5:30 p.m. – Dinner (Jeff and Cailey)

·         6:30 p.m. – Free time

·         7:15 p.m. – Family Pictures

No color coordination or other excessive preparation are needed. We simply want to document the reunion. Jeff will take the pictures. He will be available for additional individual family photos if desired.

·         7:30 p.m. – Dessert and Campfire (Mom and Dad)

·         8:30 p.m. – Games  after kiddos go to bed

Sunday June 14^th

·         8:30 a.m. – Breakfast (Piippos)  

·         9:30 a.m. – Cleanup

·         10:00 a.m. – Church in Lava Hot Springs (see map)

·         11:00 a.m. – Checkout from the Inn (if not attending church)

Sarah's Story......It's been a Year

Dear Friends and Family,
I can't believe it is already June 2.  This day has been looming over my head and creeping up.  It is not a day that I choose to remember, but here it is and I can't believe it, but so are we.   This has been an amazing year for our family and for Sarah.  Our lives have been turned upside down and inside out and we've landed on our feet.  We've settled into our new "normal" and even though life is still very hard, it is still very good!  Sarah is the most amazing girl.  I can't believe how well she has adapted into her new life and with such spirit and happiness.  She is courageous and so strong.
I've put together a video about her diabetes and her new life.  Please take the time to watch it with an open heart and an open mind.  This is our life every day, every hour.
We are walking on August 22, 2015 in Idaho Falls to support Junior Diabetes research.  For Sarah, it's something we have to do.  We need to support her and all the other children who deal with this disease.  I invite you all to save the date and to come and support her in this walk.
